![]() ![]() After a battle with another of Lothor's monster, although they maintain a friendly sort of rivalry, pair of them developed a sense of respect and trust for each other and Hunter accepted his position as Shane's second-in-command. There was particular aggression between Hunter and Shane Clarke, who battle for seniority and leadership, due to both being technically 'Red' Rangers. Upon joining the Wind Rangers, Hunter and Blake get jobs with Dustin Brooks, at the local motocross shop, " Storm Chargers".Īlthough the pair agree to work with the Wind Rangers, trust and teamwork does not come quickly for them. Following this, the Wind Rangers again offer to join forces with the Thunder Rangers, who this time accept. Hunter accidentally takes a breath of mist that makes him even more confused and angry, but the Wind Ninjas and Blake later help him come back to his senses. As a last resort, Lothor uses a ray that causes Hunter to fly into a rage and attack everyone. Choobo traps the Wind and Thunder Rangers on an island so that they can kill each other, but the Thunder Rangers regain their memories. Unfortunately, while they are on the ship, Choobo captures and brainwashes them so that they become a threat to the Wind Ninjas once more. For a time, the two Rangers were forced to battle against each other, leading up Hunter and Blake infiltrating Ninja Ops, attacking Cameron Watanabe, and finally kidnapping Sensei Watanabe. Since neither Blake nor Hunter know the truth, they agree to use their Ranger Powers and begin a full assault against the Wind Ninja Rangers and their Sensei. Lothor spins them a lie of how the Sensei of the Wind Academy Kanoi Watanabe, was responsible for their parent's murder. Soon after, Lothor locates the Bradleys, and approaches them with the promise of avenging not only the capture of their school, but also the deaths of their parents. With their new powers, and unfortunately unaware of who was responsible for the attacks, Hunter and Blake manage to make their escape. Fortunately, before being captured, Sensei Omino selects the Bradley boys to take the Thunder Morphers (which were developed in a joint effort between the Thunder and Wind Academies). Years later, both the Thunder and Wind Academies are attacked by Lothor, and nearly the entire population of both schools are taken captive by the space pirate. It also helps that the translation is funny and doesn't take itself too seriously. The romance options might be birds, pigeons or otherwise, but they're all vastly different from each other. Individually you might find one of the eccentric ones in another game, but HatoFul Boyfriend has all of them. Though the romances are short and fairly tropey, the game takes the everything including the kitchen sink approach, so even if we have the devoted childhood friend and the pompous rich guy, we also have a student who's a secret agent, a ghost, and a pigeon who lives in a delusion thinking he's the hero of an RPG. ![]() It's for those reasons I relied on a walkthrough, and thankfully the routes are short enough that I could do two or three in a sitting. Some characters require player stats to be at a certain level for their full endings, but it's not possible to know which is best until it's too late to make a difference. Oftentimes the player is confronted with a choice of where they'd like to spend their time, and there will be birds at those locations, but there's no way to know ahead of time that Ryouta will be in the cafe or Yuuya in the infirmary until the player actually goes there. With nine birds, that's a lot romancing if you want to see everything, and it's not all that straightforward. ![]() There's really a lot more to Hatoful Boyfriend than romancing birds!īut you have to go through most of the romances to unlock the BBL route, and you have to go through all of them (sometimes twice if they have multiple endings) if you want the epilogue to BBL. She's also an experiment set up to fail as the birds financially responsible for running the school actually want a war between birds and humans so they have cause to wipe out what's left of humanity. Hiyoko being allowed into the prestigious all-pigeon high school is supposed to be an experiment in whether humans and birds can truly get along (and if she doesn't find a love interest, then the bad ending plays, which results in the experiment being called a failure and Hiyoko is killed). (Oddly enough, and it's commented on, the sentient birds of the game have patterned a lot of their society off of humans, so they have things like high schools and school sporting events like the three-legged race that are so much worse for birds than humans.)Īs you go through some of the routes, we learn more about the history of humans and birds, and that some birds aren't comfortable with the remaining humans. She also lives in a cave, making it clear that her life isn't close to the present day human lifestyle we enjoy, and the birds currently participate in. The teenage player character, default name Hiyoko, is a hunter gatherer and she even makes a reference to having hunted for her breakfast before the first day of class. There are clues throughout the game that the world is our own, but set in the future after most of humanity has been wiped out. This time, armed with a walkthrough, I went through all endings to unlock the Bad Boys Love route and see the craziest part of what most people call a "pigeon dating simulator."Īnd it's really not that you're falling in love with pigeons. Annoyed, I shelved it as done without bothering to play the rest of the game.īut, one of my friends is a big Hatoful Boyfriend fan and I knew that there was a lot of the game I was missing, so I decided to go back and give it another shot. I actually marked Hatoful Boyfriend off as completed back in 2015 because I tried it, got a ending that wasn't the bad one, and then due to the completely arbitrary nature of some of choices (including stat raising), I ended up getting the same ending for my second playthrough even though I was aiming for different birds. The only way to kill a kitsune is to cut off all of its tails, as it is said that one of the tails is its main tail and the source of all its power. While there is a multiplicity of psychological options and treatments available to us for our mental health, some of which can be effective, God has provided us with powerful methods of guarding, protecting, cleansing and detoxing our cranial activity. Our mind, body, and spirit need constant TLC. They are easily damaged by what we see, hear, and experience. However powerful our minds may be they aren’t indestructible. The whole body is like a nuclear power plant, and what scientists and physicians have learned is only the tip of the iceberg. Okay, I’ve gotten off track a little bit in my wonderment and amazement of God’s incredible creation, but it’s important to understand the power of the brain, mind, heart, and soul. It will never be what it was before, but it’s amazing how far it has come. Well, I’m a believer now because my hearing has slowly and methodically improved with hearing aids. At first I didn’t believe it when audiologists said that things may sound funny now, but it should get better as your brain adjusts. Over the last two years my brain has been adjusting to hearing aids. I’ve experienced it with my hearing loss. It really is incredible how powerful the brain is. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” ( Matthew 6:22-23 NIV) The same can be said of what we hear and experience.Įverything we experience is absorbed like a sponge. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. Jesus understood this when He said, “The eye is the lamp of the body. Hopefully over time they fade, but for those who have seen and experienced traumatic things, it’s really hard to delete or erase that from memory and it does a lot of damage. There are things that we can’t un-see or un-hear. Like that annoying song, there are images or things that we have seen that won’t go away. It gets imprinted on our minds and it’s hard to get rid of especially if you’re trying to. We have a mental image of just about everything that we see. Most of the time it’s not a song that you really want to remember and don’t want to have dancing around in your head as an endless loop for days on end. For those of you who like me now have that song stuck in your head. Before I got out of my office, I unconsciously started humming the above-mentioned song. While working on this devotional, I decided to go to lunch. A great example is the song that you can’t get out of your head. Usually it’s the things that we don’t want to remember that we remember the most, right? It’s weird that way. I had to study like crazy memorizing everything methodically. It used to really annoy me when some of my fellow classmates, who apparently were either smarter than I was or had photographic memories, didn’t really have to study as hard for exams. Some people have a photographic memory and have the ability to recall vast amounts of information while others like me tend to forget things a little more quickly. Anything that we see and hear is downloaded or saved to our internal hard drives, our heart and soul. William Shakespeare said that the eyes are the “windows to the soul”. He doesn’t want negative thoughts and behaviors to cause us harm. His constant presence is for our protection. The verse says that He is “looking down in love”. The idea that God is “looking down” on us may sound like a foreboding scare tactic, but God cares about us. It was a great way to teach kids about guarding their hearts and minds from exposure to negative things. There were hand motions and everything that went with it. The 2 nd verse is basically the same except it says, “O be careful little ears what you hear”. O be careful little eyes what you see, O be careful little eyes what you seeįor the Father up above is looking down in love Do you remember the children’s song, “O Be Careful Little Eyes”? Is the TwoNav ecosystem more open to importing custom vector and raster data? So overall it looks like twonav spent some effort, but might be lacking the community behind garmin devices that creates tools and reverse engineers formats, but I'd like to hear other people's opinions. (Like which SHP properties map to which map properties.how to specify roads/trails/.?). Land Pro seems to be able to read more common formats like SHP and TIF and create maps form it, but I could not find any specifications HOW it does that. I don't think they are open or specified anywhere. ![]() Except for KML and KMZ (which are no high performance formats) none of these formats ring a bell. ![]() Looking at the cross manual I can see that IMP, KML, KMZ, MPVF, RMAP, RTMAP, VMAP are supported. There is also always the danger that one day Garmin decides to lock down their devices further rendering my work useless. This worked quite well for vector data for Garmin (thanks to the excellent mkgmap and a little bit of coding) but is frustrating for raster data. So it became quite a hobby of myself trying to get GIS data on my GPS devices. Unfortunately, map data is almost always in some custom, country specific format. Many countries (for example Switzerland, Norway, the US) publish free map data. ![]() |
